Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: 8 May 2025 | Sineqar | Batu Caves, Selangor
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before engaging the services of Sineqar. By submitting an enquiry, confirming a booking, or entering into a service arrangement with us, you agree to be bound by the terms set out below. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with a booking.
1. Interpretation
In these Terms and Conditions:
- "Sineqar", "we", "us", or "our" refers to Sineqar, registered at 36 Jalan Pertama 5, Taman Selayang Baru, 68100 Batu Caves, Selangor, Malaysia.
- "Client", "you", or "your" refers to the organisation, event organiser, or individual entering into a service arrangement with Sineqar.
- "Service" refers to any conference transport rental arrangement provided by Sineqar, including the Single-Vehicle Conference Shuttle, Multi-Vehicle Conference Transit, and Full Conference Transport Package.
- "Booking" refers to a confirmed service arrangement following written or verbal acceptance of a proposal by the Client.
- "Vehicle" refers to any car, van, or passenger vehicle assigned by Sineqar for use in a confirmed service arrangement.
2. Scope of Services
Sineqar provides conference transport rental services in Selangor and surrounding areas in Malaysia. Our services include coordinated passenger transfers between venues, hotels, and related locations for corporate events and conferences.
The specific scope of each service arrangement — including the number of vehicles, service duration, route coverage, and coordinator involvement — is set out in the service proposal issued to the Client prior to booking confirmation. The proposal forms part of the agreed arrangement upon acceptance.
We reserve the right to decline or modify a service request where it falls outside our operational capacity, involves unreasonable distances, or poses a risk to the safety of passengers or our personnel.
3. Booking & Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed when the Client provides written acceptance of Sineqar's service proposal and any applicable deposit has been received. Verbal confirmations are accepted in the short term but must be followed by written confirmation within 48 hours to be binding.
Sineqar will issue a booking confirmation once payment requirements have been met. The confirmation document will include the agreed service scope, dates, routes, and any special arrangements. It is the Client's responsibility to review the confirmation and notify us of any discrepancy within 48 hours of receipt.
Changes to a confirmed booking — such as route modifications, additional vehicles, or revised dates — are subject to availability and may affect the final service charge. Change requests should be submitted in writing at least five (5) working days before the service date where possible.
4. Payment Terms
Payment terms are set out in the service proposal. Standard terms are as follows:
- A deposit of fifty percent (50%) of the agreed service fee is due upon booking confirmation.
- The remaining balance is due no later than three (3) working days before the first service date, unless otherwise stated in the proposal.
- Payment is accepted via bank transfer to the account details provided in the invoice. Other payment methods may be arranged upon request.
- All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
Late payment may result in a delay in vehicle assignment or, in cases of significant delay, cancellation of the booking at Sineqar's discretion. Outstanding balances may be subject to a late payment charge as specified in the proposal.
5. Cancellation
Cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@{{DOMAIN}} or by phone to +60 12-843 7619. The following cancellation terms apply:
- More than 10 working days before the service date: Full deposit refund, less any non-recoverable costs already incurred (such as driver standby fees or pre-booked accommodation).
- 5 to 10 working days before the service date: Fifty percent (50%) of the total booking value is retained as a cancellation charge.
- Fewer than 5 working days before the service date: The full booking value may be retained. We will endeavour to reduce this charge where operationally possible.
In the event that Sineqar is unable to fulfil a confirmed booking due to circumstances within our control, we will offer the Client a full refund of payments made, or an alternative arrangement at no additional cost.
6. Client Responsibilities
To support a smooth transport arrangement, the Client agrees to:
- Provide accurate and complete information regarding the event programme, pickup locations, delegate count, and any special requirements at the time of booking.
- Communicate any changes to the programme or passenger requirements as early as possible and no later than 48 hours before the service date.
- Ensure that a nominated point of contact is reachable by phone throughout the service period.
- Inform Sineqar of any access restrictions at venues or hotels that may affect vehicle routing or pickup areas.
Sineqar is not liable for service disruptions arising from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the Client.
7. Conduct & Vehicle Use
Passengers travelling in Sineqar vehicles are expected to behave in a manner that is respectful to the driver and to other passengers. Sineqar drivers have the right to decline or terminate transport if a passenger's conduct poses a risk to safety or comfort.
- Smoking, the consumption of alcohol, and the consumption of food with strong odours are not permitted in vehicles unless prior written consent has been obtained.
- Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings. Sineqar is not liable for items left in vehicles after the journey.
- Any damage to a vehicle caused by a passenger or by items carried by passengers may be charged to the Client at cost.
- Vehicles may not be used for any purpose other than the transport arrangement specified in the booking confirmation.
8. Delays & Disruptions
Sineqar endeavours to provide transport arrangements in accordance with the agreed schedule. However, we cannot be held responsible for delays arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Traffic congestion, road closures, or infrastructure disruption
- Adverse weather conditions
- Force majeure events including natural disasters, public emergencies, or government-imposed restrictions
- Mechanical issues that could not reasonably have been anticipated despite regular maintenance
Where a vehicle is unavailable due to a mechanical issue or driver absence, Sineqar will make reasonable efforts to arrange a suitable replacement at no additional charge. The Full Conference Transport Package includes a contingency vehicle on stand-by to reduce the impact of such events.
9. Liability
Sineqar's liability in connection with any service arrangement is limited to the total service fee paid by the Client for the relevant booking. We do not accept liability for indirect or consequential losses, including but not limited to missed meetings, reputational damage, or loss of revenue.
Passengers travel in Sineqar vehicles at their own risk in relation to personal items and voluntary actions. All drivers engaged by Sineqar hold valid driving licences and operate vehicles that are maintained in roadworthy condition in accordance with Malaysian law.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Malaysian law.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on the Sineqar website, including text, images, layout, and branding, is the property of Sineqar or is used with permission. You may not reproduce, distribute, or adapt any content from this website without prior written consent from Sineqar.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms or a service arrangement shall first be addressed through good-faith communication between the parties. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
12. Amendments
Sineqar reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any material changes will be reflected with a revised "Last Updated" date on this page. Continued use of our services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage Clients to review this page periodically.
